“It is with great joy and sense of fulfillment that we welcome you all to this historic occasion of the presentation of 150 classy desks donated by our generous and illustrious sons and daughters in the United States of America.

We are so fulfilled because God has answered our prayers by touching the hearts of indigenes in the U.S. who, after seeing the high level of dilapidation of infrastructures in our schools, decided to start somewhere by donating these super-constructed desks to us. Our joy is unfathomable because just yesterday, our children were sitting on bare floor, but after today, a great number of them will start enjoying sitting positions.”

Mrs. F.N. Ugboaja, H/M Umuagabi East 1 Primary School November, 19th 2009.
